"Treo 650 vs. Audiovox 5600"
Pros: Media Player, good camera/video quality, hi-res screen
Cons: Directional pad, no qwerty so texting is tedious.
Summary: Now that I have owned both phones (well actually only the Treo 600, but I did test the 650), I must say the Audiovox is superior for my needs. The 5600 is a much more affordable option than the 650, and both are very similar in regards to their features. The 5600 is very light as opposed to the 650's bulkiness. But the 650's bulikiness allows room for a qwerty keyboard for easy messaging. The Palm OS has alot of available software, but for my usage (games, media, and more) the 5600 fairs quite well. The 2 in screen on the 5600 is not as large as the Treo's but its clarity makes for great viewing of Simpsons or Family Guy episodes on the built in Media Player. Available is free software to view mpeg files as well, and in full screen mode, the screen is surpringly impressive. Enough for me to consider my options, and to decide to go with the 5600 over the Treo 650.
