"Unfortunately this gaming laptop can't play games."
Pros: How do they sell this much performance for this price.
Cons: After the graphics card hits 82 degrees Celsius, it slows down to a crawl. I get about 2 fps in the game Crysis. It takes 10 minutes for this to happen.

Pros: 17.1 " screeen with Outstanding piture Core 2 Duo P8700 CPU The nvidia GTX260M 1gb gddr3 vid card ROCKS!! 500gb hd and WHOPPING 6GB of RAM.
Cons: Really high gloss black with lights looks great but shows the finger prints. Little less then 2 hours of battery time (but when im gamming I plug in the power cord )

Pros: For the price you can't beat it. One heck of a graphics card, 6 gigs of DDR2 (DDR3 would have been nice...), and a P8700 processor. It's nice to have a 1066 FSB instead of the 800.
Cons: Not really any. Short battery life but it's still better than 45 mins of my old Alienware desktop replacement.

"This is a great alternative to a high end gaming laptop"
Pros: Very powerful,very attractive.
I was first going to buy the Alienware(R)g71x.$2000 for a machine that is nearly twice the price and half the power as the asus g71x did.If your on a 1500 budget and you want a powerful gaming machine this is the choiceCons: It gets hot at times. Don't keep the machine or the charger in contact with your body. I learned that the hard way. It burned me and gave me a blister.
