"Useless for lakes or shorelines, totally useless."
Pros: Cheap to buy, but does not do what it is supposed to, it is stated to be a MARINE unit, yet my old Garmin emap, a road GPS, shows much more accurate shorelines. Does not show county roads either, what a waste of money.
Cons: I don't like paying for something that does not do what it is supposed to. Meridian Marine, what a joke. Marine my butt, it doesn't even have the name of our lake, the largest manmade lake in the eastern US right, says it is another lake upstream.
Summary: A waste of your money if you want a GPS that knows anything about lakes or rivers, it doesn't show an streams or rivers feeding our lake, it has over 1200 miles of shoreline and it does not know a bit of it. No good for anything other than state or federal roads, and pitiful at that. I have wasted more time messing with it than I could amagine, it just does not have the correct information in it at all.
