"Useless for lakes or shorelines, totally useless."
Pros: Cheap to buy, but does not do what it is supposed to, it is stated to be a MARINE unit, yet my old Garmin emap, a road GPS, shows much more accurate shorelines. Does not show county roads either, what a waste of money.
Cons: I don't like paying for something that does not do what it is supposed to. Meridian Marine, what a joke. Marine my butt, it doesn't even have the name of our lake, the largest manmade lake in the eastern US right, says it is another lake upstream.
Summary: A waste of your money if you want a GPS that ... read more

"Built like a disposable unit."
Pros: This did a good job of making tracks, marking way-points, and other basic GPS functions. Measures distace and speed well also. Used for Off-Road motorcycling, and it would get me back to the truck, but not much more help than that...
Cons: Backlit display stopped lighting as soon as the warrenty expired. Even though it is said to be waterproof, condensation inside screen, then it works no more! Also, would not download track maps to a PC. It looked great in the box!

"very accurate, driving/walking"
Pros: small, portable, recently used on a 5300 mile trip, "bailed us out" more than once. 3D vertical profile- just super!
